Valentina Sounds is an Italian-born, Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and Homey Award winner for Best Female Solo Artist. Her music blends the elegance of her vocal training with the energy of rock and the melodic appeal of contemporary singer-songwriter music.

Raised as a classical pianist, Valentina traded Mozart for Led Zeppelin as a teenager, performing in rock bands throughout Italy. In her early twenties, she moved to Philadelphia to pursue her dream of becoming a professional musician, where she honed her skills as a composer, arranger, and producer. Her songwriting blends Euro pop sensibilities, rock energy, and folk storytelling into a sound that is both timeless and unique.  Think the heart of Adele, the quirk of Regina Spektor, and the piano-pop sparkle of Sara Bareilles, with a dash of Radiohead and early Coldplay drama on top: unique, catchy, and never boring.

Her music receives regular airplay on WXPN and Delaware Public Media, she has been a featured artist at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Lady Bug Music Festival, Ambler Fest and has opened for Jeffrey Gaines, Bree Sharp, Sicard Hollow and many more.
